Sawahlunto, March 17, 2025 — The Social Affairs Office of West Sumatra Province held a Coordination Meeting for DTSEN Groundcheck Officers on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the PKK Building in Sawahlunto Municipality.
The event was attended by various stakeholders, including Family Hope Program (PKH) Facilitators as groundcheck officers, District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK), as well as representatives from the Social Affairs Office of Sawahlunto Municipality and the Social Affairs Office of West Sumatra Province.
The Head of the Sawahlunto Municipality Social Affairs Office officially opened the event, which was also attended by representatives from the provincial Social Affairs Office. One of the key sessions featured the Head of BPS Sawahlunto Municipality as a speaker, who presented material on BPS’s role in implementing the groundcheck for the National Socioeconomic Single Data (DTSEN) from the Ministry of Social Affairs.
In the presentation, the Head of BPS explained that DTSEN integrates three types of socioeconomic data (DTKS, P3KE, and Regsosek), along with other administrative data, to update the existing data.
In addition, the discussion and Q&A session provided participants with the opportunity to raise various challenges faced in the field during the groundcheck process, such as accessibility to locations, the number of households to be surveyed, and other issues.
Through this activity, it is expected that effective communication and synergy will be established between the central, provincial, and local governments, as well as BPS, in improving the quality of the resulting DTSEN data.
