SAWAHLUNTO — Sawahlunto Municipality BPS-Statistics continues to strengthen its data collection efforts to support the successful implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). On Wednesday, August 12, the team conducted visits to the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) of Sawahlunto Municipality and the Health, Population Control and Family Planning Office (Dinkesdaldukkb) of Sawahlunto Municipality. The activities were carried out by the Head of Sawahlunto Municipality BPS-Statistics, Arieswaty, S.S.T., along with the SE2026 Team.

During the meeting at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), the discussion focused on the salary payment system for teachers at schools under the institution's authority. The Ministry of Religious Affairs explained that since 2025, the payment of salaries and allowances for madrasah teachers has been made directly and transparently by the central government, no longer using the previous system through work units. Therefore, BPS requires information regarding teacher salary expenditure data for 2025, which will subsequently be used to complement the data collection for the 2026 Economic Census.

Following the visit to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the data collection activities continued at the Health Office to discuss the recapitulation of operational data and medicine usage at health facilities. The discussion covered the distribution of medicines throughout the year from the Health Office to community health centers (puskesmas).

These visits and data collection activities are part of the efforts of Sawahlunto Municipality BPS-Statistics to obtain the necessary data to support and ensure the successful implementation of the 2026 Economic Census, which will continue until the end of August.
