BPS-Statistics of Sawahlunto Municipality Conducts Training for 2026 SKSPPI Officers

September 17, 2026 | BPS Activities

SAWAHLUNTO — BPS-Statistics of Sawahlunto Municipality conducted the 2026 Training for Officers of the Special Survey on the Study of Changes in Inventories (SKSPPI) at the Hall of BPS-Statistics of Sawahlunto Municipality on Thursday (17/09). The activity was opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics of Sawahlunto Municipality, Arieswaty, SST., and attended by one Regional Instructor (Inda), two enumerators, one field supervisor, and one training committee member.

The 2026 SKSPPI activity was conducted in response to the need for data sources for compiling investment components, namely Changes in Inventories and Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF/PMTB), in the Expenditure-based Gross Domestic Product (GDP)/Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) as well as the Supply and Use Table (SUT). Specifically, the 2026 SKSPPI aims to obtain data on the quarterly volume and value of inventory positions, the ratio of inventories to production value, commodity structures across business activities, and information on companies’ fixed assets. The training focused on enabling participants to master the concepts of inventories and PMTB, understand the survey methodology, and properly complete the questionnaire instruments.

The training was conducted comprehensively, covering a pre-test, discussions on concepts and methodology, questionnaire completion, an evaluation of the previous year’s implementation, a post-test, and an in-depth session. Through this training, the officers are expected to carry out their field enumeration duties professionally in order to produce accurate and high-quality data.
