Gross Regional Domestic Product of Sawahlunto Municipality by Expenditure 2020-2024

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data instruments that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province or regency/municipality). This data instrument can also be utilized for other purposes, such as the basis for developing economic models to formulate policies, assessing the velocity of money, financial deepening, tax determination, export and import studies, and so on. According to macroeconomic theory, the calculation of GRDP can be carried out using three approaches: the production/supply approach (GRDP by industry), the expenditure/final demand approach (GRDP by expenditure), and the income approach (GRDP by income). In theory, all three approaches should result in the same GRDP value. This publication specifically discusses GRDP using the expenditure/final demand approach. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditure, Consumption Expenditure of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditure, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventories), as well as Exports and Imports. The GRDP data presented in this publication and future publications use the 2010 base year and have adopted the System of National Accounts 2008 concept as recommended by the United Nations
